I have a plan to put up a tutorial site (again anything and everything under the sun) that could benefit my readers. This is my way of spreading my knowledge and my skills as well. So as part of this plan, I’m looking for an application that captures my screen activity. There I found out that the activity is called “screen cast”. Have you heard of screencasting?
I’m currently looking for the BEST application that is suitable for my needs. One of the best is “Screencast-O-Matic” (Note that this is not a paid post I just want to give some feedback about the site). It’s the online based tool that you can use for screencasting. I have read several reviews about it and it’s safe to use. I have also tried it and I admit, it’s definitely hot! You don’t need to download or something, just create directly your video. Take note, it’s also FREE. The only disadvantage is that if you don’t have Internet, you are unable to use this thing. So I should look for another one, I guess…..

In this innovative “Blogosphere” there are still some people who don’t know what is a blog and how does it work. Well, here’s a start up post that can actually help “newbies” in terms of blogging.
Blog – in a very simple term it’s an online diary where you can write anything and publish in real time.
Now that you have a simple understanding of a blog, let’s move to blogging platforms. There are several blogging platforms to choose from some of the well known platforms are Wordpress, Blogger and LiveJournal. The one which I recommend is Wordpress. Its user friendly and up to date statistics make it more powerful than ever. You don’t have to worry because the ones that I have mentioned are free.
Before you register, think of the topic or things you want to write on your blog. If you want your blog to be visited by millions of people, make sure you write the most interesting topic so people will get back and watch out for more of your posts.
If you have now the topic, you’re ready to go to the next level! Go ahead and register.

Writing can be more fun if you’re earning out of it. But how can you make money with your writing skills? Here are the simple steps:
- You’ll have to create a blog site. If you don’t’ have much money to buy for your own domain or for the hosting then you can go for the free ones. You can register for blogger.com, and wordpress.com. They offer free hosting so no worries at all. In creating the name of your blog make it catchy. Readers won’t read generic and boring blogs.
- Now, if you’ve started to create your own blog site start create more posts. Write as often as you can. Don’t forget to watch your grammars and the thought of your post. Most advertising sites prefer blogs with high PR (Page Rank). In order to achieve this you must write down some more posts. Don’t write posts which are not relevant to your site. Unless you note that your blog holds a general topic. To easily gain higher PR make use of keywords.
- If you have reached maximum of 90 posts and your blog is already 3 months old you can now register to blog advertising sites. (Click on the link for the reviews)
Just a note: Make sure your blog site is simple and must not contain much of flash animations since it makes your site slower.
Good luck with your earnings!
