Homeless. This is how I define this picture. As I am watching that poor little child it breaks my heart. Can you imagine if you are that kid? You live your life in the grungy streets. urghh it’s awful right? It’s really heartbreaking when you see those kind of stuffs on the street. This is the reality that some people can’t see. They have been blindfolded with their greedyness. They are not contented of what they have.
You see my dear readers, we must value of what we are having right now. We are living in a comfortable life, don’t ask for more! Be grateful..just forget about complaining on things which are really not important. Just think about the kid in the picture. You’re still lucky……
When I logged in to my computer this morning I realized that my desktop is such a mess. Files are everywhere! It does not even contain folders just to organize things. I know I’m not good into organizing stuffs and these cluttered files make my eyes so busy. Well, I really agree with one of the facts that if things appear to be higgledy-piggledy your mind also jumbled. Okay, so first step to be done this morning is to arrange all the files so the next time I log in my Desktop is clean and organized. Here’s how I will do it:
Step One: Create a categorize folder
Step Two: Label each of the files. Make sure that you labeled the files in an order manner so it won’t get confusing.
Step Three: Move them to the created folder
Since, I’m eager to do it as soon as possible I managed to sort the problem in 10 minutes. I guess my records management skills are not bad after all. Weeeeeeeee!

P.S My drawer is also chaotic. Am I a bad employee? Yes, I know right! Whew! A lot of chores to be done today and if I’m going to arrange stuffs on my desk it’s gonna be half day.
Did you ever kept a secret and up to this moment you don’t have the courage to spill it out? Good for you if don’t have at least one.
Life is not always transparent. There are certain things that we prefer to be hidden. Even the least part of it that we think must not be shared and even the most horrible experience is being concealed. Our lips are sealed when we know that these secrets might have a bad impression to us right? And revealing your most top secret can be dangerous. It might be a poison that could kill you instantly! (Nah I’m just exaggerating) Seriously, we must be very cautious in choosing people whom we reveal our secrets with. We might not know if he/she’s the most dangerous snake.
“This love would be worth the wait….” I’m currently listening to Barbie Almalbis’s song to her hubby entitled “untitled” (weird huh).. If you could see me as in now, you’ll think I’m going nuts! Yeah, that’s because I’m truly in love with the song and I’m having flashbacks of the sweet things me and my boyfie shared for almost 2 years. Through this song, I really appreciate our current relationship. It’s been 2 years and yet we still love each other. I mean, we’re going up to the next level like you know having engaged and sooner or later get married. It’s just that I’m so in love right now that I keep on smiling and smiling…..just a silly thing that I listen to this song for the 10th time and if we’ll get married this song must be played over and over again…

Sometimes people make decisions in a snap and at times we say insensitive words to others. But why do these things happen anyway? Well, we suddenly do these because we are angry.
Bursting out too much may bring us to haunting humiliation. For an instance, our boss is complaining a lot of stuffs about our work. It’s definitely a bad idea to fire up the situation. If that’s the case be calm and show your boss a normal look. That way it gives the impression that it doesn’t give you any pressure. Then thereafter you may listen, and pay attention to what he or she is saying. Remember to be serene at all times, in order for you to think smarter than your boss. I’m not saying that you are always better than your own boss, but in cases like that, controlling your emotions can make you think smarter.
“Strike while the iron is hot” Are you familiar with this idiomatic expression? I hope you do. In my personal belief it’s really important to always take chances. If an opportunity hits you, then go ahead and take it. It’s now or never. And if it would result to failure its okay, at least you tried. Taking opportunities are taking risks.
People take chances with different reasons whether for a career growth or for own personal reasons. We can never predict if we’re going to succeed or to fail. Don’t always hope for the best, but always DO your best. Now, if you failed then who cares? It’s no big deal at least you tried. If an opportunity is not yet given to you, then probably it’s really not for you.
These are the things I learned after I failed on one of the opportunities I grabbed. It’s quite tough but challenging. Surprisingly, my first reaction after I heard the news is just normal. I did not felt uneasy or upset. It’s simply normal. No regrets. At least, I know that I did my best, and I did a good job. But then again, I know that it’s not for me. Again, in my optimistic way of thinking, I just take this as one of the challenging times in my life. I know there are more better opportunities await me and because of that, I will never give up.
In our busy life, we tend to forget the simple things that we should be thankful for. Simple yet we can’t even thank God for the things that he had given us. When we’re in trouble we seek for him, but then if he answered our prayers, we sometimes forget to say “thank you”. Don’t you realize that you are lucky?
God provided a sun rise for us to realize that there’s still hope. He provided a meal to fill up our stomach and a comfortable home to live for. God send his guardian angels (our parents), to protect us from danger, and to guide us for a good life. That’s why we are really thankful that he maintained our parent’s safety and ours too. God has given us a good health which we sometimes abuse. Of course, to avoid starvation, he provided a source of living for us, but we still complain whether it’s about the job, salary, the boss, and the colleagues.
Sometimes, we keep ourselves busy for the things which are really not important. We tend to forget that we are so lucky to have all these things like beautiful shoes that we’re wearing (that others don’t have) and of course, a beautiful home where others live in a rotten house. It’s time for us to realize that we should stop complaining and be thankful because you still have all these things. We are lucky that he had given us wonderful blessings.
Yesterday, I was blog hopping around our company’s intranet and reading some of my favorite blogs. I’ve come across an “Operational Excellence” blog which is really interesting (it really motivates me more in my work everytime I read the posts). The thought of the post is mainly the difference between Performance and Growth which he expounded very well. Because I am interested with the topic, I’ve come up a formula. (Performance + Growth = Career Success).
What is the formula all about? To explain further, Performance is where you develop skills, knowing the capabilities, and reaching beyond the goals. For me it’s one of the essential things to keep in mind. If an employee exceeded his or her goals, he has a good performance. On the other hand, Growth (where is actually a Career Growth), comes in if an employee already achieved those goals and sharpen his skills. With a good performance and of course a good career growth, a person will absolutely have a successful career ahead of him. And because I’m really inspired to share the things that I learned, I will write a follow up post on this. It’s about how you can have a good performance, and how to achieve career growth.
I’m happy to say that yesterday, I’ve learned something!
Sometimes it’s hard for a writer or a blogger to write things especially when they feel uncertain to the topics that they’re going to write. Just like me, there are instances that I don’t know what to blog about. Most especially when I’m busy doing office stuffs. A friend told me that I should listen to inspiring songs that could really touch my feelings. And so I browse in the Internet to the songs that could inspire me to write. Thanks to Google, I found a song entitled “COMMISSIONED” by Fire Fall Down. There are a lot of songs that I do like, but this one is different. There’s a thing on that song that touched my heart, here it goes:

It reminded me of a word “HOPE”. This is it! I have to write a blog fighting up into something because there’s still hope. Falling down can deteriorate our life, but we have to stand up and start again. The cool thing here is that the band produces songs which do not imply negativity. Do you have long term goals? I bet you have. Do you know why successful people make it to the top?
Having our own objectives, we tend to think of possible ways (I mean so many ways) to complete these goals. But, there are times that we encounter trouble that challenges us if how far can we go. Others might fall back and do nothing. It’s not supposed to be like that. We should think out of the box. You get my point? I wish you do. It’s ridiculous to think that you can’t do anything. Of course you can! We always have the freedom to choose and successful people choose to take failures as a challenge. So why not be like them? Drive and take control of your life. We are humans with brains and so we should use this intellect to find ways, to provide solution, and to implement a better action. If we transform negative things into positive ideas, then we could probably take part for a change. Aim high because you can! Your determination can shape your mind to think, and fulfill your dreams. Remember, a way to success is to take one step ahead.
