As I have mentioned on my previous post about changing the Wordpress Theme, I forgot to mention that Wordpress is one of the Open Source Content Management System. To explain further, CMS (Content Management System) is a platform where you can manage and control all data on your website including pages, photos, posts, etc. If a blogger does not have an extensive knowledge in website building, CMS is a big help. It’s not necessary to master all advance html and css codes if you will use CMS.

There are lots of open source content management systems you could choose from. But the most recommended for beginners is Wordpress. Few examples are Joomla, Drupal, and Xoops.

Through CMS, bloggers or website owners can also control their SEO (Search Engine Optimization). You can handle the tags, the title of your site, can also create pages which is also search engine optimized and a lot lot more!

As I have mentioned in one of my posts, social bookmarking is also one of the best strategies in search engine optimization or in internet language “SEO”. Social Bookmarking is a one way of storing, collecting, or organizing websites or blogs in the Internet. An online bookmark of the stuffs you like. Other word for bookmark is “Favorite”.

There are lots of Social Bookmarking Sites on the web. Namely, Digg, Reddit, del.icio.us, these are common and well known sites so far. I was doing a little research on Social Networking and I’ve come across an article in Google, which explains how, is the Social Bookmarking or Social Networking very important in SEO and is really interesting to read because it explains well the complete thought of social sites. The author explains that one of the promoting strategies is Social Bookmarking. He also elaborated the importance of Forums. The only thought that the author explained regarding Forums is that, through this people or internet marketers can identify and establish their brand. For me branding is really essential, most especially when a person is starting or a newbie. Through this branding a person can be known on the web.
